We helped Easy Crypto to create a more refined and accessible wallet experience, and conceptualised the Octopass App for their foray into the international market.
We created a new consistent UI library, with an emphasis on clarity and moments of interest. We also improved UX flows and simplified content, allowing users to focus on the important stuff.
After reimagining the Easy Crypto Wallet, we set our sights on the transaction experiences across the Easy Crypto website, and app. Our overall goal was to create a widget that could be applied across all devices, and also used by third party partners as a whitelabelled experience.
Again, our focus was on clarity and simple, repeatable UX patterns.
Easy Crypto is well known and loved in New Zealand, however the team set their sights on breaking into international markets. We worked using the new Octopass branding to reskin the Easy Crypto Wallet - we also had more freedom to completely reimagine not only the look and feel, but major UX such as onboarding and portfolio experiences.
We began by applying the new brand across key screens, to determine how we should apply it and how much restraint is needed - the Octopass brand can be very overwhelming!
We decided to use key screens such as success, loading, and notifications as moments to bring the Octopass brand to life. Using subtle animations alongside splashes of colour gives Octopass a playful, relaxed feel while still allowing users to focus and understand core information.
