Rock to Rubble were in need of an initial brand to help them stand out from others in the industry. Our goal was to create something punchy and bold, without being tacky or oversimplified.

I landed on using a simple brand mark depicting a rock and rubble, with sharp angles and a strong yellow accent to help it stand out. For typography, I chose THUNDER as it is bold yet refined and highly readable.

Idea to execution was really quick, the main explorations were around how to make the typography work well as a wordmark. The rock motif came about in the first few ideas, initially representing an "R" and becoming more abstract as we refined.

Stacked, horizontal, and brand mark only variations alongside monchromatic variants mean this brand will work well in any setting, at any size.

Overall, this project was a success - from idea to deliver took a few weeks, and we were on the same page the whole time. Still to come are a website and marketing materials, vehicle signage and more!
